I can control the PTZ from my phone, and an old PC. My family can control it from their phones (5 different phones) and their computers (4 different notebooks and 2 desktop PCs) but when I login to CMS on my Lenovo Yoga, I cannot use the PTZ controls because I get the error message “no power”.
Has anyone else experienced this or does anyone have any ideas of what I can try?
I am using the same user account/login as works on other systems. I have uninstalled CMS and re-installed it double checking every setting against those used on another (working) system. I don’t know if I have settings blindness (missed something obvious!) or if there is something else I can try.
I would suggest that you add a separate account for remote viewing and specifically assign the permissions realm for the account or assign it as administrator level. You can do it in Device Config->Account/User Manager.
